Flexible seating allows children to find a spot that works best for their learning, but due to our COVID restrictions, students have to mainly stay at or near their desks. I have some very physically active students who truly benefit from being able to move, or for some, their chair just starts to be uncomfortable. As we all know, a plastic chair isn't the most comfortable place to sit for many hours, so having a cushion to sit on will truly help. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work, so these cushions will be extremely helpful in that area. The product I have selected will not only help students get the wiggles out but also be more comfortable in a space they have to stay in most of the day. The cushions can also be used to make the floor under or near their desks a great place to sit, as well! Another plus to this product is that these cushions are washable. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
