The Science Take-Out Labs are designed to give students hands-on experiences learning scientific concepts about lactose intolerance, genetic engineering, and kidney and dialysis machine simulations. Students will complete the labs at home or during remote-hybrid instruction, and they can record their findings to present to their peers. It is exciting for me to give my students real scientific experimentation that connects to their own prior knowledge and extends their learning. Hopefully some of my students will aspire to be scientists. They truly have an inquisitive nature, great attitudes, a passion to achieve, and empathy towards others.
