The iPad will facilitate an individualized instruction model in a remote environment and will help overcome the biggest challenge in my view that special educators face; that being unable to sit next to a student and provide them with on-on-one support. I will use this technology to overcome the remote learning gap I am experiencing with my students, and help provide the instruction and support that has been denied due to COVID. Although nothing can replace face-to-face interactions, I am thankful for the opportunity to creatively engage with my students through this assistive technology.
