Filling my classroom library will have a huge impact on the amount of reading material readily available to my students. This is my first year as a fifth grade ELA and Social Studies teacher so my classroom library is very limited. I want to have as many reading materials available for my students so that they can quickly get their hands on a book that interests them. The book set I chose is geared for the age of the students that are in my class and will give them a variety of fiction books to read. The magazines will offer non-fiction text for the students to read. It will also give them something fun to look at because the magazines are in color which always draws the attention of students.
