Social emotional skill development is critical during the preschool years. We learn to share, make friends, and manage our emotions. How do we accomplish this goal when we are not learning in person? Wellness Wednesdays at our Early Education Center is a weekly video shared to all preschoolers to assist in building social emotional skills. I've developed an interactive program based on Conscious Discipline to assist our youngest learners to learn to manage their "big feelings". Using stories, songs, and live videos, students learn to identify their emotions, learn coping skills, and are provided with calming activities. The requested materials will aid in creating engaging and interactive materials to assist parents and teachers to address the critical area of social emotional development.
