We would like to send board games, cards, and puzzles with the children to have at home. These activities will hopefully encourage family involvement, in addition to creating positive learning experiences, as they may not currently have these materials at home. The materials provided will go along with some of our Early Learning Standards for preschool. (Ex. Social skills, fine motor skills, and cognitive concepts). This year our county has been using a blended school model, meaning we see children face to face for two days a week, and send work and materials for the students to complete with parents at home the other three days of the week. We're hoping that by providing these "at home" materials, interaction and family game time will become a regular event!
