I have a high-energy group of students this year that have a hard time paying attention during class. I have always wanted to explore the idea of flexible seating but wasn't sure how to implement it. Recently, I was able to get some wiggle cushions, chair legs, and bouncy yoga balls to use for seating, and my students' success increased! Being able to wiggle, bounce, and kick made such a difference in their focus and attention. I have seen their grades go up and attention improve when they are able to move around while working. I would like to provide these flexible seating items for more of my students who need it. Having the ability to move will improve their focus, attention, and overall success with their learning.
