This pandemic has our world scrambling for solutions to problems that we did not notice existed previously. Virtual, distance, remote, and hybrid learning have become the norm this year and there is one thing they all have in common--TECHNOLOGY! Currently, our school has funded a grant to provide every student with an iPad as we go through these difficult times where we limit our use of shared materials, limit the use of textbooks and paper materials, and even limit the amount of time spent in the school. My students' education would benefit greatly from an Apple TV and a travel cart. This would allow for quick and smooth my iPad to connect directly to the SmartBoard allowing my students to see exactly what I am doing and accessing from their seats. Not only would this benefit my class full of students and me, but it would also be a huge help to the teachers who rotate in and out of my classroom on a daily basis. They would be able to connect directly when they enter the room instead of logging in and out of the desktop computers. The cart will allow me to transport my materials to the other classrooms, and the Apple Pencil will let me provide instruction for my students.
