Students will be able to work in pairs and groups while using peer editing and revising techniques to meet their writing requirements. Also, they will discuss, annotate, respond to, and critique literature using Socratic Seminar and Inquiry Methods. Because students are not accustomed to Standard American English, students will be required to both write and speak using Standard American English. Due to Social Distancing mandates, students are required to remain at least six feet apart. Idealistically, this does not work for group work, communication activities, peer editing or virtual school, all of which my students struggle with.
