Out school staff continuously recognizes students for meeting behavioral expectations from anywhere in the school, not just the classroom. With out PBIS rewards system, teachers, staff and administrators recognize and acknowledge positive student behavior by giving students a golden ticket! Currently out students have the opportunity to save the ticket for a classroom prize or drop it the ticket into a raffle from an opportunity to select a small prize and have their name called on the announcements. When asking the students what would motivate them to earn more golden tickets they decided that a school store with exciting items to choose from would be great to have on a weekly basis! Therefore, we are starting a school store where students can save up their tickets and purchase what they want for exhibiting being respectful, responsible, safe, and a scholar.
