Over the years we were able to get some incredible equipment for our makerspace. The students use Tinkercad as well as Fusion 360 to create some wonderful inventions. Students have created 3D printed cars. They design, print and assemble their cars and race them on race tracks. This is an additive process. We want to show students more ways to create. The CNC and the laser cutter is a subtractive process. Students will learn how to create with the subtractive process in mind. They will be able to compare which process works best.
