Using YOUR tablets, students will program a robot to navigate mazes. Student teams will use a box of tools for measuring distance, and angles. Then they will decide how to program the robot to navigate the course. Not all the boxes will have the same resources. Much like life, teams will compare their approach to problem solving, programming, results, successes, failures, and ideas on how they could improve. Not all the boxes will have the same resources, so no approach is the perfect way! Different teams, having different tools, but all needing to overcome some of the same mazes will learning something from each other along the way. This lesson is a great one, not just for programming class, but for life.
