John Dewey once wrote that students learn better by doing. This is especially true in Science where students learn better by being actively involved in classroom learning experiences. The materials requested in this project (the slide sets, chemicals, blood typing kits) will aid my students by allowing them to be actively involved in learning experiences (both at home and in school). The materials requested will also help in the development of skills and attitudes that will aid in taking my biology and anatomy students to the next level of learning.

About my class
