One of the challenges of teaching performing arts in a virtual setting is showcasing our students' talents. An outdoor venue not only would provide a safe place for our students to perform, but also it would open the door to new types of performance opportunities such as Shakespeare in the Park, music festivals, etc. We see this as a HUGE positive to come out of a very difficult school year. This space would also be available for all students and teachers schoolwide to use as an outdoor classroom or lecture area.

About my class
