This project will not only help my students academically but also socially and emotionally. My students have been adapting so well to virtually and in person learning. These tools will help with both settings. My students are eager to learn and these hands on materials will assist them in visually their learning. They will be able to use these tools daily and stay engaged by playing educational games that will help them master their educational standards. Also, with everything going on in the world, this project will allow the students to express themselves socially and emotionally to better support their mental health. These materials will help my students during ELA to build their phonics instruction and sight words ability in order to help them become fluent readers. These games/center activities can be done independently or with partners so the students can collaborate and build off each other's knowledge. We are currently learning about place value and regrouping addition and subtraction. With the place value mats they will be able to see how the regrouping works by interactively regrouping the place values.
