This upgraded equipment will stay with the Band program for years. Please help us "step up" our sound so we can "step out" into the community to perform! In the last several years, the band students have worked diligently to upgrade their sound and improve their technique. Now, it's time to match our equipment to their skill level. The percussion equipment: mallets, drumsticks, and practice pads, will stay in the band room so many students will use them throughout the day. These items will allow percussionists' sound to carry through the room, no matter where we rehearse or perform. The clarinet ligatures will be a "step up" for our woodwind players. They will be assigned to experienced students who are ready to audition for honor ensembles and extra performances. The Shure microphone will be used in Rock Band, our most popular extracurricular band.
