The materials requested will help in students development of self and character. It will aid in self-awareness and ensuring coping mechanisms/interventions resonate with students and are applicable when possible. Groups where students have like situations/commonalities will be utilized with these materials to aid in the overall betterment of the students. Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) in high school is heavily correlated with academics. When a students SEL is in a negative space, primarily it transcends into their grades. These materials will aid in shifting the trend to a more positive direction.

About my class
