Having a book in hand is a complete different experience for emerging readers and this project will help an entire section have one in their hand!! Students love being able to flip through the pages and physically engage with the book. The exposure to print has proven to help students learn to love reading! The story of PAX is one that is unique! The author chooses to show the point of view from both the animal and the boy. Each chapter gives the reader a different perspective! Students will love the different voices.

About my class
