Our musicians love music and need more options to be musically creative in their homeroom classrooms. Our Related Arts Team has to go to the homeroom teachers' classes everyday to have Music, Art, STEAM & P.E. Our story is unique this school year due to the pandemic. Because of Covid 19 restrictions, we don't have enough rhythm band instruments for students to play during music time because there aren't enough instruments for each students. Because of this, our students haven't been able to play any instruments in class. Having a class set of rhythm sticks and hand drums will help our musicians explore more with the basic idea of steady beat in songs and and be more creative with composing their own rhythms in music. There are restrictions on singing in class as well so we thought having grade level sets of rhythm instruments will enhance our learning together. We will be grateful for your donation as this will enhance our students learning experience in music class.
