The use of puppets is a great way for students to interact with words, expressions, and writing. We will collaborate with the Nashville Public Library in sharing puppet productions. This will especially support our English as second language learners. We will present our puppet shows virtually and in person to other classes. We will work across grade levels for groups and will involve several teachers to provide scaffolding for our English language learners. Students will choose the content of the show in their own words through writing workshops. We will present all shows in the library.
