Often times, parents get "left out" when students receive therapies in a school setting, such as dyslexia therapy. With this device, I will give parents access to live notes and added resources to help their child at home. These resources will be aligned with what specific skills the student needs depending on the therapy session. This device also has the capabilities for students to use during the therapy session by building words, using interactive resources for phonics skills, and much more. I truly believe that it takes a village to raise a child. This project will help me effectively provide support directly to parents and students, daily. I feel like it is extremely important for parents to be aware of how their student is doing in therapy. This device will provide multiple opportunities for me as a dyslexia therapist to provide the best support possible for my students.
