As a math teacher, I frequently utilize dry erase boards because it is a quick, interactive way for me to assess students' learning while they are learning new skills or practicing previously learned skills. This year I am teaching virtually for the first time, and although I am incorporating the latest and greatest technologies with my students, I have struggled with finding a way for students to "show what they know" throughout the learning process that doesn't always involve technology. If my virtual students had access to dry erase boards and markers, they would be able to show their work and hold it up to the camera for me to assess. These specific boards that I am requesting are double-sided and include an XY Axis/graphing side. This will be extremely beneficial for students as we learn how to graph ordered pairs since we are not in person for me to distribute graph paper. If my students had access to these materials, it would allow them to become more of an active learner in the virtual world.
