My school is located in rural Southern Indiana. Almost 50% of our students qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch. This means the majority of my students come from low socio-economic households. Students from low socio-economic families come to school ill-prepared. Often times they are missing basic school supplies and basic hygiene products at home. My Care Cabinet will have all the necessary school supplies and hygiene products students need to be successful, healthy and feel good. Some of these supplies include pencils, pens, highlighters, folders, binders, notebooks, shampoo and conditioner, body soap, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes, and feminine products. Any student who needs school supplies or hygiene products may access this cabinet.
