With your help my students will have access to a small group set of a modern classic and age-appropriate novels. Research has shown that when readers share and reflect on a work of literature in a small group setting they can reflect and respond to their other readers in group dialogue. The Neverending Story is a novel that can excite even the pickiest reader! The matching journals allow students to record their thoughts, reflections, illustrations, and assignments as they leave their legacy of literature for future reference. Please help bring this project to our classroom!!
