My students always need to be able to relate science to their real lives and giving them the chance to view slides of items they come across everyday will do just that. I can use these when teaching them about science technology and in my life science class where we discuss cells and how the microscope helps us to understand them better. I teach gifted and talented math/science to 6&7 grade students in a low income area so our resources are not plentiful here. I am planning to do a project later this year on green energy so having the opportunity to physically bring it into the classroom would help so much. The kids also LOVE to code and I know for certain they would enjoy the opportunity to do it in class in a fun and exciting way.
