As a teacher, we have many tools in the classroom to help us teach but unfortunately, many of them are out of date. Incorporating the TouchIT Rapide Interactive flat panel screen into my classroom will be extremely beneficial in this ever-changing society. I have always been an educator who tried to stay with the times when it comes to technology. Students need something in the classroom that will provide them an ultimate learning experience whilst meeting their educational needs. I am fortunate to teach in a district that believes that all students should have access to technology for learning. However, due to budget cuts and COVID, there is a lack of access to funds for this type of technology. I teach every student at my school, and I interact with all kinds of learners. This interactive technology would unleash student engagement and motivation. Students are no longer able to collaborate and engage in group work. This technology allows the students to work together virtually and cast their screens up on the panel via the cloud-based software. Students will also share thoughts and ideas and provide constructive feedback to their peers in a socially distant way. Another amazing feature this Flat panel allows me to teach my lesson and my students would also be able to capture my lessons on their devices and still be able to add their own notes without the need for separate note-taking. This technology will help ensure that all my students are fully engaged in my lessons and allow them to remain socially distant while sharing their work from a distance.
