My students are all fully virtual or getting packets, and the number one question they ask me is, "Ms. Menard, when are we coming back to school?" They miss the building. My Learning Strategies are creative and resourceful 9th and 10th graders, who will always find a new way to get things done; I want to support their learning and creativity as much as possible! We've done group projects, played Pictionary, and even modeled math problems to one another all in a virtual setting! I want to mail my students construction paper and sticky notes so that they can make a tangible foldable for a project, something that they've sorely missed doing. Additionally, several of my students have noisy backgrounds and/or inoperable microphones. I want to mail them headphones with mics so that they can hear and be heard. Lastly, to support my effort to be as innovative as possible with our class, I've asked for a gift card to TeachersPayTeachers-- my students love hands-on, creative projects, and TpT has SOOO many resources for them.
