The use of these 3D Pens is not only innovative and will draw on my students' creativity but I can have students take their distance learning to a whole new level. Students can step back from their computer screens and get their bodies, minds, and creativity in motion. For example, when I teach DNA, students can create a DNA molecule however they like by sculpting a 3D model using a variety of colors to identify the parts expected on the NGSS standards. This can be done with almost any science topic. This will help my diverse students that have limited supplies in their homes.
