Part of the curriculum for the IB Math class that I teach requires students to use a graphing calculator. It is also useful for students to use them in other subjects I teach or have taught (Algebra 2, etc) because they use them on the SAT and ACT. Our school is a very diverse school economic wise and not all students who are excelling and are in the IB program can afford an expensive calculator. Your help will ensure the students will have the tools they need to be successful. The software that has also been requested will enable me to show students, who are working virtually and in the classroom, how to use the calculator. At the moment I am using the camera and/or document camera to show the students what buttons to press to make the calculations. The software will make it easier for students to see and learn the operations of the calculator and will help the class move more fluidly. School is stressful enough for students and teachers, especially now, without worrying about not being able to be properly equipped to learn. Your support will be appreciated more than you know!
