It may appears as if a simple water bottle has nothing to do with learning but this is not quite true. “Recent scientific studies have found out even mild dehydration can affect children’s cognitive function” (Early Learners, 2013). Providing each student in my classroom with a water bottle will be very beneficial to their learning and attitude towards school work and communicating with their peers and teachers. There has been a noticeable difference in my classroom when I give my students water break. There is a decrease in complaints about headache. When my students are hydrated they are more capable of completing assignments and visit the nurse’s station less daily. Supplying the students in my class with water bottles will allow them access to have water throughout the school day.
