Each year, Scholastic News is usually funded by our PTO for our entire grade level. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we have decided to forego asking for funds this year. I have always valued Scholastic News and Science Spin because it is an excellent resource! I am writing this project as a way to pursue Scholastic News and Science Spin and give my students access to an incredibly engaging and educational kid-friendly resource. The supplemental magazine, Science Spin, also provides a full year worth of engaging, on-level lessons that are designed to engage my learners. The digital component would be a great addition due to the fact that it is designed to read content, which is perfect for my students who are still learning to read. Thank you for considering donating to my project for my 2nd grade students!
