We have students at our school who are non-verbal communicators. In order to create a more inclusive space for those students at our school, we would like to create a universal communication tool-kit that is shared across all classrooms and all learning spaces! By having this shared language, our non-verbal communicators can engage in all discussions and in all spaces. In our current online reality, this is also helpful for many of our students who would normally speak in person but are uncomfortable speaking online. These materials in this project (special paper, binding machine and materials, velcro dots) are the tools we need to build over 150 of these tools to use with staff, students, community partners, and families! Help us get this funded!

About my class
