My students live in a low income area and many families are struggling financially to make ends meet. There isn't extra money for electronics supplies that are vital for online learning. Many live in cramped housing where several children are online at the same time trying to listen to their iPads without headphones. The noise makes it makes it easy for them to be distracted. They need headphones to help them focus and be more successful learners. My students would greatly benefit from having their own headphones to help them learn and focus during online instruction.
