My students love to be engaged with their learning and at times, may need to burn some extra energy! Cardio drumming can be incorporated throughout the school day to help students be active, increase their muscle strength, improve their coordination, and help them focus throughout the school day. This project includes yoga balls, tubs, and drum sticks that will allow my students to participate in a new activity that will allow them to have fun while exercising. My students often have deficits in fine and gross motor skills. An activity such as cardio drumming would give them an opportunity to learn new things, improve their fine and gross motor skills, and strengthen different muscle groups.
