About my class

These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create for my students. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy-I read on the carpet to them, they complete work there. Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. I also would love to create this atmosphere in their home when they are not at school. With these leveled readers, my students will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to begin reading independently with a book that is just right for them at home and at school. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students build the confidence they in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word at school and at home.
