The iPad that I have requested will have a huge impact on my students' learning. I work with students that have limited verbal skills. Apple has some amazing apps that are specially made for enhancing speech therapy with students. I want to give my students every opportunity possible to succeed in school and life. The iPad is just one tool that can be an amazing resource to change a student's life forever. Today's students interact with technology on a daily basis. What better way to enhance speech therapy than with a device that they are already use, to and has a high level of engagement. Engagement of students is a key to success in the my speech therapy classes.
