My unique group of special needs learners love to learn, but only when they are feeling comfortable and secure. The items I ordered will help students who get overstimulated find a way to self soothe. By climbing into the pea pod, a child can feel warm, safe, and secure, and ready to learn! The weighted dog can sit on a lap, helping to relieve the squirms and wiggles. Flexible seating spaces will make my classroom not just a room, but an inviting, safe, space. Just like a pea in a pod.
