Prior to remote learning, many of my students needed extra support with helping them regulate and manage their anxiety emotions. There is so much research supporting the need for sensory rich experiences to help calm children of all ages. With these materials, I can make ones that are specific to their interest. Many of my families are experiencing additional stress at this time. The calming effect of the sensory experiences increases children's ability to more attentively focus to external experiences as well build language skills. It would be great if each of my students had access to these while at home.
