My students will improve not only their fine motor skills by manipulating an I-Pad, but through the use of interactive games and applications they will increase their knowledge of health related components of living as well as communication skills with others. The case and screen protectors will help protect the iPad from lots of use. Creating a fun environment that incorporates a variety of PE equipment and technology will help to enhance the way I teach and reach my students in physical education. Anything to aid in the progression of motor and cognitive development is essential when working with students with varying needs and disabilities. My students love the interactive toys like the suction cup toys that will stick to a wheelchair tray for students to reach out to play with them. The light up doodle board will also encourage movement. The cornhole games, bean bags and tetherball will be great for practicing tossing and hitting skills.
