This is my first year in my new school. When I walked into my classroom I realized how much my classroom was missing. It was not until I walked into other classrooms for the same grade that I realized how much more my classroom was missing. Some stuff I had, some stuff I began to buy, but there is still so much more. Our literacy curriculum asks that our students have access to "Favorite Storybooks". I did not even have a set to use to teach and had to borrow from another teacher. Our math curriculum is hands-on and because of COVID, I cannot use certain materials because I do not have enough to make individual baggies. These materials will help us get through the first couple of months of our curriculum. The printer will allow me to actually color print the worksheets the curriculum asks for. Right now we have a black and white printer and it's slowly dying. I cannot even print half the stuff I need to for my students' success. Because of this daily, I am going to my parents' house to color print activities and worksheets the curriculum asks for. Help me be the best for my students during this time. Help them have access to everything the other kindergarten students have access to.
