Today's students are growing up in an ever-changing world with technology at the forefront, which is why adding a new Kindle Fires to my classroom will be beneficial for my students. I would love to have a Kindle Fire station to utilize during literacy and mathematics centers in my classroom, which is why I am asking for a new Kindle Fires, protective cover, and an Osmo. Having a Kindle Fire station would allow me to know exactly which skills my students are working on, and they will have the opportunity to use new technology. It's a win-win situation for everyone! Adding new Kindle fires to our classroom would provide opportunities to use a multitude of learning apps. We will use the Kindles and its technological capabilities to coincide with our reading and math curriculum. We will use the Kindles at many different times of the day, including large group instruction, small group instruction, and centers. The different ways that we will use the Kindle will vary greatly depending on the subject we are studying. The addition of this piece of equipment will provide my students with numerous opportunities to learn how to read and do math in a way that is up to date with current technology. I also need a protective case to keep our new Kindles safe and an Osmo for hands-on activities. This project would impact my students' learning experience tremendously. These resources excite them as they are joyfully learning while "playing" on the tablet. With your help, you can continue to provide these opportunities to the students in my class.
