My students attend a Title 1 school. We have a high rate of poverty and mobility in our school. My students are enthusiastic learners. They love being read to and reading independently, but lack the resources during remote instruction. My students need high interest and quality books at their reading level. My students have used virtual libraries during remote learning, but they need books in their hands. I want them to experience curling up with a good book and becoming lost in a story. Books In Our Hands will help them to become lifelong readers!
