These students will help students organize their writing and reading materials throughout the year. Reading bags will be used to house student books and reading logs so that students can track reading progress. Students who read each day at home and school are much more likely to develop a love of reading and make significant progress over the course of the school year. The journals will be used as a portfolio to showcase student writing progress over the school year. Each year, students love seeing their writing improve form August to May.
