Many of the students here at Woodland Elementary come from different socioeconomic backgrounds. Many of whom do not get a chance to participate in lifelong activities...such as bowling. With these bowling carpets, my students will get an opportunity to participate in a "real" bowling game just as they would be able to at a bowling alley. They would love getting the chance to be able to bowl in a real setting. They will learn about the game of bowling, learn how to bowl, and be able to play a bowling game with their peers in class.
