Having a newly converted art room and filling it with kids has been put on hold however, getting art supplies to students hasn't. With the uncertainty of returning to school and very limited funds in the second half of the year, we are in real need of basic supplies so these creative middle schoolers can get to work. Kids need to create- it is essential! It's awesome to see all of my students in Zoom classes and they are craving the right materials to make the world a better place through expression and creativity. While I am currently posting their work on a virtual wall, I am looking forward to getting the actual art and embellishing our hallways with color and life for the future!
