These materials will give us the opportunity to introduce forms of art to our students that are both traditional and commercial, giving them a facet of art that will allow them to explore creative careers and opportunities that can be impactful. Art is important for these kids with them being from a smaller town, it is an opportunity to create a brand for themselves, to make a name for themselves as a professional and creative. I have seen these kids generate amazing ideas, creating incredible imagery and concepts for large works but being limited by the lack of materials in our room. With these materials we would be able to push creative and physical and intellectual boundaries with their work.

About my class
