With the daily use of technology in all areas of the curriculum, each student is using a laptop for many of the subjects taught. Three-fourths of my special education students have fine motor deficits or eye-hand coordination issues. Therefore, they have difficulty maneuvering a mouse. An iPad will make it much easier to work on the educational programs we use for enhancing their learning. We only have a limited amount of iPads, which cannot be shared between students due to Covid-19. By donating to our project, you will give each special needs student an opportunity to use technology to help increase their academic achievement. Students will increase their ability to use technology to enhance their learning capabilities.
