Interactive Notebooks are a great way for students to organize their notes while created a publication of the standards mastered in their math class. Interactive Notebooks teach students a variety of notetaking and organizational skills, while appealing to different learning styles. They provide structure to the key concepts students are learning and can be scaffolded/differentiated for different abilities. Highschool students rarely get the opportunity to color, cut, and glue anymore. However, older students still enjoy these activities. Incorporating these activities increase learner engagement in the lessons and make learning math more fun!
