I absolutely love teaching Kindergarten. They are so eager and excited to learn! Many of my students are in need of a sensory outlet. Items like Legos and magnetic tiles and other building manipulatives will occupy their hands while enhancing their critical thinking skills and shaping our next generation of innovators. Other items such as the alphabet bingo cards, dinosaur puzzles and CVC blocks will help us to build our phonics skills during our centers time creating lifelong readers and learners. The tens frames and magnetic counters will be great for learning to count and there will be enough for each student to have their own set. I've been giving my classroom a fresh new look and have run out of glue sticks for my hot glue gun. This 5 pound box should keep us supplied for quite some time. I'm so excited about the Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards. There are so many great and ready made resources for us to use. I love that they now have ready made digital activities as we are doing 1 to 1 devices to minimize the spread of germs. My students can have fun practicing their math and reading skills using things like Boom Cards. We also need a new iPad case for one of our class iPads.
