Our school is one of the few schools in our area that all students are attending school full time. Students need to be in Cohorts and are not allowed to share materials. This leaves us without options for cohorts that are not able to use the playground equipment during their thirty-minute recess. Winter will be especially challenging for these Cohorts, as they can't be on the playground at the same time. Some Cohorts will be left to use the ball fields. Sleds and snow fort making cubes would be ideal entertainment during this recess time.
